Lakes Entertainment reports gains from Shingle Springs casino

Business continues to improve at the casino owned by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians of California, the tribe's gaming partner reported today.

Lakes Entertainment said it earned an additional $1.1 million in management fees from the Red Hawk Casino. That marks another quarter of improvements at the facility.

The tribe has agreed to pay $57.1 million to end its agreement with Lakes. The tribe is also seeking to refinance about $450 million in debt.
