Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe urged to pay $1M for failed casino

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe is being urged to pay $1 million for a failed casino deal in the town of Middleboro, Massachusetts.

The tribe agreed to pay $250,000 a year to the town for planning purposes. The tribe has since changed casino sites but town leaders say they are owed four years of payments.

The tribe has said the deal has been terminated.
