The Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians is being asked to provide more information about its proposed casino in Mackinaw City, Michigan.
The tribe seemed to make a favorable impression at a public meeting in April. But the village manager wanted more information about payments in lieu of taxes, The Petoskey News-Review reported.
The tribe needs local approval for a second casino. The earliest the city council could vote on the project would be August, the council president said.
