Saginaw Chippewa Tribe shares $2.8M in gaming revenues

The Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan shared nearly $2.8 million in gaming revenues with the local community.

Under its Class III gaming compact, the tribe shares 2 percent of slot machine revenues with local governments. This spring, the payment for Northern Bay and Arenac counties was $639,592.27 and the payment for Isabella County was $2,119,745.13.

The tribe will hold a press conference on Thursday to distribute the funds, MLive reported.
