The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe of Massachusetts will be announcing changes to its casino plan next week, The Taunton Daily Gazette reports.

The tribe will be making changes to the design of the casino, the paper said. The move comes after the Massachusetts Gaming Commission voted to accept non-Indian bids for a casino in the southeastern region of the state.

“In light of whatever the Mass. Gaming Commission has done, I don’t think it’s a setback,” Chairman Cedric Cromwell told the paper. “I don’t think it in any way, shape or form affects our progress.”
