The Forest County Potawatomi
Tribe of Wisconsin has scaled back the size of its casino hotel.
The hotel at the Potawatomi Bingo Casino will still have 381 rooms, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. But it will rise 17 stories, down from 20 stories in the original plan, the paper said.
The tribe is taking other steps to reduce the cost of the project, according to the paper. The budget is $97.5 million, down from $150 million that was reported when the tribe broke ground last summer.
The hotel is expected to open in summer 2014.
