The Pokagon Band of
Potawatomi Indians will open the doors to its third gaming facility on April 30.
The 27,000 square-foot Four Winds
Dowagiac will be the smallest in the tribe's enterprise. But the facility reflects the look and feel of the main Four Winds Casino Resort
and the satellite Four
Winds Hartford Casino.
"Dowagiac is home to the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians Tribal Government as well as many Pokagon Citizens, which made it the natural location for our newest property," Chairman Matt Wesaw said in a press release. "We are thrilled to open this casino, which has created approximately 100 new jobs for Pokagon Citizens and people living in nearby communities. The casino will also support the development of ancillary businesses in the area."
