Report cites five percent jump in Florida tribal casino revenues

Tribal casino revenue in Florida increased 5 percent in 2011, according to Casino City’s Indian Gaming Industry Report.

The Seminole Tribe and the Miccosukee Tribe took in $2.16 billion that year, the report said. The Seminoles operate seven gaming facilities and the Miccosukee operate one casino.

The tribal growth rate slowed from 18 percent in 2008 to 10 percent in 2009, according to the report.
