The Enterprise Rancheria of California says litigation against its casino has a financial impact to the tribe and the surrounding community.
The tribe has gained federal and state approval for an off-reservation casino in Yuba County.
But litigation is costing the area $600,000 a day, a spokesperson said.
"That's one of the reasons we're so eager to get up and running,"
spokesperson Charles Altekruse told The Marysville Appeal-Democrat, estimating the casino's annual impact at $230 million.
The Cachil Dehe Band of Wintun Indians, also known as the Colusa Indian Community, and a group called Stand Up! For California are among those fighting the Enterprise Rancheria casino.
