The Navajo Nation expects to open its first gaming facility in Arizona in May.

The Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort is located off a major interstate near Flagstaff. The tribe is spending $175 million on the first phase of the facility with more than 1,000 slot machines, several food establishments and a 90-room hotel.

"In the middle of May we will open our doors," Derrick Watchman, the CEO of the Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise, told The Arizona Daily Sun.

The tribe held a job fair this past weekend to fill 800 positions at the casino.
