Cherokee Nation prepares to open $20M expansion of casino

The Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma is preparing to open a $20 million expansion of one of its casinos.

The tribe broke ground on the Cherokee Casino in Fort Gibson in June. The 28,000 square-foot facility 500 electronic games, a restaurant, a bar and a stage for performances.

The casino will employ 150 people.
