"It has been the opinion of The Standard-Times that the process for commercial applicants in Region C should even today be running parallel to that of the other two regions.
In addition, the state, should allow the tribal process to run its natural course around the numerous hurdles both in the state law and in the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Whether or not that means a fourth casino — run by the tribe — would depend entirely on the gaming market and the willingness of investors.
That could, of course, take years. The tribe, however, also could compete for a commercial license against K.G. Urban or any other developers."
