Mohegan Tribe to continue paying salary for casino executive

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will continue paying the former CEO of its casino for two years, The New London Day reports.

Jeffrey Hartmann ran the Mohegan Sun for 21 months. He will receive a $1.3 million-plus annual salary until September 2014, according to a filing the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority sent to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Hartmann was replaced by Bobby Soper, a tribal member.
