The Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians in California will break ground this Thursday on a $150 million casino expansion project.

The tribe is adding a 403-room hotel tower, a 23,000-square-foot convention center and a 2,200-seat entertainment center to the Harrah’s Rincon Casino & Resort. The facility will boast over 1,000 rooms -- the most of any tribal casino in the state.

“The expansion is a long-awaited and long-planned development,” Chairman Bo Mazzetti told The San Diego Union-Tribune.
