Klamath Tribes (Oregon)

The Klamath Tribes announced a closure of the “majority” of its offices and the suspension of “non-essential services” from March 23-31, 2020.

Due to the dangers of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and to reduce the exposure risk to employees, Tribal Members and the community at-large, The Klamath Tribes is closing the majority of the Tribal offices and suspending non-essential services,” Chairman Don Gentry said on March 20. “This action will help assure that we are able to continue to provide essential services to our Tribal Members during these uncertain times.”

The announcement came after the tribe closed the Kla-Mo-Yo Casino on the evening of March 17, 2020.
