R.I. tribe upset over reservation checkpoint bill
FRIDAY, MAY 30, 2003 The chief of the Narragansett Tribe of Rhode Island criticized a bill that would set up checkpoints around the tribe's reservation in order to make customers pay state cigarette tax.
