Memorial set for fallen soldiers from Ft. Bliss

TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 2003

A memorial will be held Friday for the nine members of the 507th Maintenance Company, out of Fort Bliss in Texas, who were killed in action in Iraq.

Lori Ann Piestewa, 23, a member of the Hopi Tribe of Arizona, was one of those who died. Her friend and roommate, Jessica Lynch, was rescued last week.

The public is invited to the memorial.
