Crow to consider chairman election

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2002

A new election will be held to choose a new chairman for the Crow Tribe of Montana.

Clifford Bird in Ground resigned the post earlier this month after pleading not guilty to theft of tribal funds. Along with others, he is accused of using tribal money to buy cars for family members and friends.
