Harris-Walz for Arizona Joins Navajo Nation Parade
Today, Harris-Walz for Arizona marched in the 76th Annual Navajo Nation Fair and parade where the campaign highlighted to voters Vice President Harris’ New Way Forward for Native American families that have been historically left behind — an agenda that will cut taxes for middle-class families, lower the cost of renting and owning a home, and ensure that Native communities have a chance to not just get by, but get ahead.
“The Harris-Walz campaign is doing the work to earn the vote of Navajo Nation and all Tribal communities in a way that Native voters recognize and respond to,” said state Senator Theresa Hatathlie. “We know that Trump and Project 2025 are a threat to Tribal sovereignty and our personal freedoms, meanwhile Vice President Harris and Governor Walz’s New Way Forward will deliver on the issues Native families care about, making sure every Tribal community is a place of opportunity.”
