Cowlitz Tribe announces more hires for casino management team

The Cowlitz Tribe announced two more hires for its fast-rising casino in Washington.
James Dougherty will serve as assistant general manager and Erik Palmer will serve as chief financial officer for the Cowlitz Casino Project, The Longview Daily News reported.
They join
Kara Fox-LaRose, a member of the Mohegan Tribe who is the general manager.
The Mohegan Tribe is helping the Cowlitz Tribe with the project. The two tribes have been partners for more than a decade and have worked through litigation, regulatory and other hurdles.
The casino is slated to open in the late spring of 2017.
