The Chemehuevi Tribe of
California announced plans for a second gaming facility.
The 25,000 square-foot facility will feature 320 gaming machines and six table games,
Today's News-Herald of Lake Havasu reported. Plans also call for a 48-room hotel, the paper said.
The facility would be built on land only 1,000 feet north of the existing Havasu Landing Resort and Casino, the paper reported. The project also includes a new marina.
The tribe is holding a public hearing on October 30 to discuss plans.
