The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin outlined plans for an off-reservation casino on Tuesday night.
The tribe wants to build a $150 million to $200 million facility on 32 acres in Beloit. The project would include a 45,000-square-foot casino, a 35,000-square-foot convention center and a 300-room hotel.“I think we have a match -- a place that is looking for opportunity and a nation that has the potential to create opportunity,” President Jon Greendeer told residents at a public meeting, The Janesville Gazette reported.
