A fire at the casino owned by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux
Community of Minnesota couldn't keep the gamblers away.
The fire caused some damage to the roof of the Mystic Lake Casino and there was never a major threat to patrons since it was located in a part of the facility that's closed for remodeling.
About 100 people were moved to a safe part of the building during the incident.
"I had a $110 bonus on my machine," Irene Weingartz, 77, told The Minneapolis Star Tribune. "I said, 'I'm not moving until I cash out.'"
Crews contained the blaze in about 90 minutes.
