Group prepares a second lawsuit over Graton Rancheria casino

A group that's been fighting the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria over a casino is planning another lawsuit.

Stop the Casino 101 Coalition already lost one case. But now that the Bureau of Indian Affairs has approved the tribe's land-into-trust application, the group is coming back.

"We are planning right now legal action," Chip Worthington told The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat.

The BIA on Friday agreed to place 254 acres in trust for the tribe. The tribe still has to negotiate a compact with the state in order to operate Class III games.
