Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland and leaders from the Department of the Interior toured the site of the former Carlisle Indian Industrial School with Army leaders at what is now part of the U.S. Army Carlisle Barracks. They also visited Dickinson College’s archives and Center for the Futures of Native Peoples, as part of the Federal Indian Boarding School Initiative. October 2, 2024.
