“Yes that’s me,” Winona Flying Earth wrote on social media after the Joe Biden presidential campaign released its victory video on November 7, 2020. Flying Earth hails from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and has been a leader in efforts to protect Native women for decades.
“My mama is in this video,” her daughter wrote.

Clara Pratte, a citizen of the Navajo Nation who serves as the director of tribal engagement for the Biden campaign, also chimed in.
“Love this and loved being a part of ensuring Native representation. It matters! We matter,” Pratte wrote. “So proud of Indian Country and our GOTV efforts.”
