DISTRICT COURT DENIES TRIBAL BID, REMAINING CRF DISTRIBUTIONS TO BEGIN<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Late last week, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nafoa.us19.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5fdaa92d88375a474b912b0f3&amp;id=41c300ec55&amp;e=15e6efc718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/nafoa.us19.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3D5fdaa92d88375a474b912b0f3%26id%3D41c300ec55%26e%3D15e6efc718&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1592313324759000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFN3lg8EKaTF-kfA_7mhRziqppOiw\">D.C. district court rejected the case&nbsp;<\/a>brought forth by the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation seeking to delay the release of the remaining $3.2 billion (40%) in tribal allocations within the Coronavirus Relief Fund for states, local, and tribal governments found in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nafoa.us19.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=5fdaa92d88375a474b912b0f3&amp;id=5bb0a5edef&amp;e=15e6efc718\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/nafoa.us19.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u%3D5fdaa92d88375a474b912b0f3%26id%3D5bb0a5edef%26e%3D15e6efc718&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1592313324759000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEGwvqmK3dZ39f-Rk8BTPReFgqsYQ\">CARES Act<\/a>&nbsp;passed last March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Court rejected the bid claiming a lack of jurisdiction to determine the appropriateness of Treasury&#8217;s formula or the manner in which Treasury underwent Consultation with tribal governments.
