Of those, 6,436 returned positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. That represents an increase of nearly 7.3 percent from the <a href=\"https:\/\/indianz.com\/covid19\/?p=4893\">5,999 cases previously reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, testing increased by 9.9 percent between May 12 and May 13, the data shows.<\/p>\n<h2>COVID-19 Cases by IHS Area<\/h2>\n<p>Data are reported from IHS, tribal, and urban Indian organization facilities, though reporting by tribal and urban programs is voluntary.
