Photo: Federal Bureau of Prisons<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Two Indian inmates died of COVID-19 while in federal custody this week, the Federal Bureau of Prisons said in separate announcements.<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Circle Bear, 30, died at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bop.gov\/locations\/institutions\/crw\/\">Federal Medical Center Carswell<\/a> in Texas on April 28, 2020, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bop.gov\/resources\/news\/pdfs\/20200428_press_release_crw.pdf\">Bureau of Prisons said<\/a>. Rex Damon Begay, Sr., 80, passed away at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bop.gov\/locations\/institutions\/trm\/\">FCI Terminal Island<\/a> in California after testing positive on April 19, the Bureau of Prisons said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>&#8220;On Monday, April 20, 2020, he was transported to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation,&#8221; a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bop.gov\/resources\/news\/pdfs\/20200429_press_release_trm.pdf\">news release stated<\/a>. &#8220;While at the hospital, his condition declined and he was placed on a ventilator on Thursday, April 23, 2020.
