News Release: Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos Announce Temporary Closure<\/p>\n

Due to the serious public health emergency created by the COVID-19 pandemic, Harrah\u2019s Cherokee Casinos will be temporarily closed for a two week period effective at 6am, Wednesday, March 18, 2020.<\/p>\n

To be clear, there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at Harrah\u2019s Cherokee Casinos to date. However, for the health and safety of our team members and guests, the casino will close beginning Wednesday, March 18.<\/p>\n

This decision is a precautionary measure only, made to ensure we are in compliance with local rules and regulations.<\/p>\n

During the closure, Harrah\u2019s Cherokee Casinos will be paying two weeks of pay to all team members and benefits will not be interrupted.<\/p>\n

Harrah\u2019s Cherokee is closely monitoring this evolving situation and will work with local officials to establish a reopening date as soon as it is appropriate to do so. We look forward to welcoming back team members and guests soon.<\/p>\n
