The ongoing public health crisis has changed the lives of many, but New Mexicans remain strong, resilient, and driven by a commitment to the health and safety of their community. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe current crisis has created unique challenges for our families, but I have been inspired by New Mexicans who are stepping up to meet the needs of their communities. From neighbors helping deliver groceries to the elderly and vulnerable, to the \u2018Rosie the Respirators\u2019 group sewing masks for essential personnel, we are witnessing what makes New Mexico so special. During times like these, we must support each other \u2013 and that\u2019s exactly what we are seeing on a daily basis in our communities,\u201d said&nbsp;<strong>Luj\u00e1n.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cThese positive stories deserve to be heard and uplifted, and our Community Champions deserve our recognition.
