The total number of deaths remains 1,758. The report indicates that 51,511 individuals have recovered from COVID-19. 518,178 COVID-19 tests have been administered. The overall total number of positive COVID-19 cases is now 53,363.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navajo&nbsp;Nation COVID-19 positive cases by Service Unit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chinle Service Unit: 10,244<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crownpoint Service Unit: 5,160<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ft. Defiance Service Unit: 5,431<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gallup Service Unit: 8,939<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kayenta Service Unit: 5,060<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shiprock Service Unit: 9,891<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuba City Service Unit: 5,790<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winslow Service Unit: 2,826<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* 22 residences with COVID-19 positive cases are not specific enough to place them accurately in a Service Unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Navajo Nation remains in \u201cyellow status,\u201d in accordance with Public Health Emergency Order No. 2022-004 available online at:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndoh.navajo-nsn.gov\/COVID-19\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.ndoh.navajo-nsn.gov\/COVID-19&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1651100604547000&amp;usg=AOvVaw26jlsUnGnpZxxqI3Ly8lWb\">https:\/\/www.ndoh.navajo-nsn.gov\/COVID-19<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe second booster shot is available for elders and those who are immunocompromised at all health care facilities on the Navajo Nation. Our health care experts strongly recommend receiving the second booster shot if you haven\u2019t already. Please continue to take precautions in all public places and be very careful. We are in this together and we must continue to support and inform one another, especially our elders,\u201d said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Health care facilities on the Navajo&nbsp;Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines.
