Below are case numbers including the past weekend and Monday:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">April 23-24:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;24 new cases, 0 deaths<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">April 25:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3 new cases, 0 deaths<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The total number of deaths remains 1,758. The report indicates that 51,501 individuals have recovered from COVID-19. 517,676 COVID-19 tests have been administered. The overall total number of positive COVID-19 cases is now 53,358, including 27 delayed reported cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Navajo&nbsp;Nation COVID-19 positive cases by Service Unit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chinle Service Unit: 10,243<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crownpoint Service Unit: 5,160<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ft. Defiance Service Unit: 5,431<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gallup Service Unit: 8,938<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kayenta Service Unit: 5,059<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shiprock Service Unit: 9,891<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tuba City Service Unit: 5,790<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winslow Service Unit: 2,824<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* 22 residences with COVID-19 positive cases are not specific enough to place them accurately in a Service Unit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Navajo Nation remains in \u201cyellow status,\u201d in accordance with Public Health Emergency Order No. 2022-004 available online at:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndoh.navajo-nsn.gov\/COVID-19\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.ndoh.navajo-nsn.gov\/COVID-19&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1651020248064000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3CHCstqQ4TGW-gpuok3EAi\">https:\/\/www.ndoh.navajo-nsn.gov\/COVID-19<\/a>. Based on cases from April 8 to April 21, 2022, the Navajo Department of Health issued a Health&nbsp;Advisory Notice for the&nbsp;following six communities due to uncontrolled spread of COVID-19:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Chichiltah<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ganado&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Tachee\/Blue Gap<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Chinle&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Pinon&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Tselani\/Cottonwood<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe continue to meet consistently with our health care experts to monitor the COVID-19 case numbers and we rely on their expertise as we move forward. We are not out of the pandemic, but our numbers have been consistently low for some time and that\u2019s thanks to the great work of our Navajo people, frontline warriors, and the experts behind the scenes. I continue to encourage all of our people to take precautions, especially in public places, and continue to do everything you can to protect your elders and those with underlying health conditions.
