The overall total number of positive COVID-19 cases is now 53,179, including seven delayed reported cases.<\/p>\n<p>Navajo&nbsp;Nation COVID-19 positive cases by Service Unit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chinle Service Unit: 10,196<\/li>\n<li>Crownpoint Service Unit: 5,151<\/li>\n<li>Ft. Defiance Service Unit: 5,397<\/li>\n<li>Gallup Service Unit: 8,916<\/li>\n<li>Kayenta Service Unit: 5,037<\/li>\n<li>Shiprock Service Unit: 9,882<\/li>\n<li>Tuba City Service Unit: 5,762<\/li>\n<li>Winslow Service Unit: 2,816<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* 22 residences with COVID-19 positive cases are not specific enough to place them accurately in a Service Unit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe mask mandate remains in effect for the entire Navajo Nation, including all businesses and schools. We continue to encourage all eligible individuals to get vaccinated and boosted. As we approach the Easter holiday weekend, please continue to adhere to our medical and health professionals\u2019 advice and recommendations by mask-wearing, social distancing, and testing yourself before attending large family gatherings.
