The report indicates that 51,091 individuals have recovered from COVID-19. 504,881 COVID-19 tests have been administered. The overall total number of positive COVID-19 cases is now 52,884, including 11 delayed reported cases.<\/p>\n<p>Navajo&nbsp;Nation COVID-19 positive cases by Service Unit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chinle Service Unit: 10,139<\/li>\n<li>Crownpoint Service Unit: 5,143<\/li>\n<li>Ft. Defiance Service Unit: 5,375<\/li>\n<li>Gallup Service Unit: 8,890<\/li>\n<li>Kayenta Service Unit: 5,005<\/li>\n<li>Shiprock Service Unit: 9,794<\/li>\n<li>Tuba City Service Unit: 5,709<\/li>\n<li>Winslow Service Unit: 2,807<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* 22 residences with COVID-19 positive cases are not specific enough to place them accurately in a Service Unit.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the state of New Mexico reported 150 new cases and Utah reported 131 new cases. The state of Arizona now reports COVID-19 cases on a weekly basis, each Wednesday.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur Navajo people are doing a great job keeping the daily numbers of new COVID-19 cases low, but we can still do better. We want to reach a point where we have no new cases on a consistent basis. We need more of our people to get vaccinated and a booster shot to help protect themselves and others. We are in this together and our prayers continue to carry us through the challenges we face.
