Tribal EOC Reports 1 New COVID-19 Case: 3 Total Active<\/strong><\/h2>\n

AKWESASNE<\/strong> \u2014 The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe\u2019s COVID-19 Response Team reported one (1) new case<\/a> in Akwesasne\u2019s southern portion over the weekend.<\/p>\n

From the six (6) active cases reported on Friday, March 11 th<\/sup>; three (3) have completed their isolation period — leaving three (3) active cases under the Tribe\u2019s jurisdiction. The active cases include two (2) children between the ages of 5 to 11-years old and one (1) individual over the age of 18. We offer our sincere wishes for a safe recovery.<\/p>\n

COVID-19 VACCINATION CLINICS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

With 71.5% of eligible residents fully vaccinated, the Wednesday vaccination clinic is now being held at the tribal clinic\u2019s main campus located at 404 State Route 37. The weekly vaccine clinic is open to all individuals over the age of 5-years old from 9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. No appointment is needed.<\/p>\n

COVID-19 TESTING CLINICS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Health Services continues to conduct COVID-19 PCR testing on Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (or while supplies last) at the clinic\u2019s testing garage. Please use the road located across from the intersection of State Route 37 and McGee Road and follow the signs.<\/p>\n

Akwesasne residents and employees can also schedule a FREE<\/u><\/strong> COVID-19 PCR or Rapid Molecular test by contacting Mountain Medical at the following locations on Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:<\/p>\n

COVID-19 HOME TEST KITS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesdays, Health Services is distributing COVID-19 Home Test Kits at no cost from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (or while supplies last) at the clinic\u2019s testing garage. Community members will receive either the BinaxNow COVID-19 Antigen Self Kit or the QuickVue At-Home OTC COVID-19 Test.<\/p>\n

Individuals who test positive are asked to self-report positive results to St. Lawrence County Public Health at (315) 386-2325, SRMT Contact Tracers at (518) 333-0230, or Franklin County Public Health at https:\/\/bit.ly\/3njGiRa<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Positive cases should provide notification to individuals who may have been potentially exposed.<\/p>\n
