AKWESASNE<\/strong> \u2014 The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe\u2019s Emergency Operations Center and Health Services reported five (5) new cases of COVID-19 — making 20 total active cases in Akwesasne\u2019s southern portion.<\/p>\nSix (6) individual resolved since yesterday and there is no update on the 16 family members and friends who remain in quarantine at home. We wish them all a safe and symptom-free recovery.<\/p>\n

COVID-19 TESTING<\/b><\/p>\n
Saint Regis Mohawk Health Services is conducting COVID-19 PCR Test Collection Clinics from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at their main campus located at 404 State Route. Please use the road located across from McGee Road and follow the signs for testing garage.<\/p>\n
Akwesasne residents and employees can also schedule a COVID-19 test by contacting Mountain Medical Urgent Care in Malone at (518) 521-3322 or Mountain Medical Urgent Care in Massena at (315) 705-0700. The PCR Test is free however, requests to receive a Rapid Test is at the individual\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n
Due to the increase in cases across New York State, including the North Country, please allow 3 to 5 days to receive PCR test results. Until results are known, please quarantine at home and do not travel.<\/p>\n
