Meanwhile, the number of vaccines administered grew by about 1.0 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/oklahomacity\/\">Oklahoma City Area<\/a>&nbsp;continues to account for the most vaccines received (473,180) and administered (388,903). The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/navajo\">Navajo Area<\/a>&nbsp;comes in second (264,385 distributed, 253,743 administered) while the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/california\">California Area<\/a>&nbsp;comes in third (227,555 distributed, 160,066 administered).<\/p>\n<p>In all three areas, the number of doses administered, as well as the number of doses distributed, increased from the week prior.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This is another key milestone in our fight against <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a>. The Johnson &amp; Johnson\/Janssen vaccines are currently on backorder, but redistribution from other sites will be coordinated if sites request this vaccine. The table below shows the total number of vaccine doses distributed and administered per IHS Area to date for those facilities that chose to receive vaccine through the IHS jurisdiction. The data includes COVID-19 vaccinations administered to all ages authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The IHS administration rate is 83 percent.
