Meanwhile, the number of vaccines administered increased by 0.6 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/oklahomacity\/\">Oklahoma City Area<\/a>&nbsp;continues to account for the most vaccines received (441,410) and administered (368,258). The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/navajo\">Navajo Area<\/a>&nbsp;comes in second (254,105 distributed, 233,987 administered) while the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ihs.gov\/california\">California Area<\/a>&nbsp;comes in third (221,605 distributed, 154,454 administered).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Telehealth and telemedicine services have been a critical component of health care during the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/COVID19?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#COVID19<\/a> pandemic response. The Johnson &amp; Johnson\/Janssen vaccines are currently on backorder, but redistribution from other sites will be coordinated if sites request this vaccine. The table below shows the total number of vaccine doses distributed and administered per IHS Area to date, including COVID-19 vaccinations administered to all ages authorized for emergency use by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The IHS administration rate is 82 percent.
