This Information Session will provide an overview of the process of applying for these funds through the <a href=\"https:\/\/api.id.me\/en\/session\/new\">Treasury Submission Portal<\/a>.&nbsp; The session will also allocate time for a Q&amp;A period, however Tribes are encouraged to send questions in advance using the <a href=\"https:\/\/ustreasury.zoomgov.com\/meeting\/register\/vJIsdu2hqj8qGmKTMY_lepKnO6CMCoU_2Ao\">registration<\/a> process.<\/p>\n<p>NAFOA strongly urges Tribal Leaders to take part in this Information Session which will further explain the procedure for acquiring these much-needed funds. &nbsp;This session will also underscore the importance of, and&nbsp;provide guidance for, meeting&nbsp;the <strong>deadline for requesting the first payment on May 24, 2021 at 11:59 pm PST <\/strong>along with the <strong>deadline for requesting the second payment on June 7, 2021 at 11:59 PM PST<\/strong>.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFor more information about the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds for Tribal Governments please visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/home.treasury.gov\/policy-issues\/coronavirus\/assistance-for-state-local-and-tribal-governments\/state-and-local-fiscal-recovery-fund\/tribal-governments\">Treasury Website<\/a> and read our <a href=\"https:\/\/nafoa.org\/broadcasts\/policy-alert-treasury-announces-formula-to-distribute-20-billion-in-covid-19-relief-to-tribal-governments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Broadcast<\/a> announcing the disbursement.&nbsp;
