Ben McAdams<\/a> (D-Utah) continues to feel the health impacts of the coronavirus, having tested COVID-19 positive. He reported to a hospital in Utah on the evening of Friday, March 20, 2020, after experiencing a &#8220;severe shortness of breath,&#8221; according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepBenMcAdams\/status\/1241878967327559680\">statement posted on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>McAdams is one of three members of the U.S. Congress to report a positive COVID-19 result. <a href=\"https:\/\/mariodiazbalart.house.gov\/\">Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart<\/a>&nbsp;(R-Florida) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.paul.senate.gov\">Sen. Rand Paul<\/a> (R-Kentucky) are the others.<\/p>\n<p>Two additional members &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/davids.house.gov\">Rep. Sharice Davids<\/a> (D-Kansas), a citizen of the Ho-Chunk Nation, and <a href=\"https:\/\/cole.house.gov\">Rep. Tom Cole<\/a> (R-Oklahoma), a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation &#8212; are in self-quarantine. <a href=\"https:\/\/indianz.com\/covid19\/?p=900\">Each stated<\/a> they had <a href=\"https:\/\/indianz.com\/covid19\/?p=850\">been in contact<\/a> with a fellow of Congress with the coronavirus.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Thank you everyone for your well wishes.
