“The COVID-19 vaccines are available for individuals five years and older now. Getting fully vaccinated is a critical part of reducing the risks associated with COVID-19. We all have a part in bringing down the number of infections in our communities. Please wear a mask in public, get vaccinated, and be very careful in your daily activities. The safest place to be is at home here on the Navajo Nation. We are in this together,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
Health care facilities across the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your health care provider and schedule an appointment.
“We have to meet our prayers halfway and keep pushing back on COVID-19. Take safety measures, especially if you travel or go into public. We also thank all of our first responders and health care workers who are working around the clock to save lives. Please continue to pray and be safe,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
