“We’re getting through this COVID-19 pandemic one day at a time. Our public health experts continue to urge everyone who is eligible to get vaccinated, which includes a booster shot. Many of our student athletes, along with their families, are competing in the basketball state finals in New Mexico, so we strongly urge them to take extra precautions as they cheer on their loved ones. We are in this together and we must continue to support one another,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
Health care facilities on the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your health care provider and schedule an appointment.
“Keep praying and keep taking safety precautions, especially in public areas. Our prayers are strong, but we must also do our part to protect ourselves each day. Please be safe, continue to pray for our frontline workers and all of our communities. We will emerge from this pandemic and carry forward,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
