ALERT: The Pueblo continues to experience a large surge of positive cases within Pueblo boundaries. Many tribal services continue to be impacted by the surge and the EOC continues to work at max capacity. The POL COVID-19 case update is as follows:

EXPOSURES the POL EOC contact tracers have confirmed the Pueblo is dealing with COMMUNITY SPREAD of the virus. Additional exposures are beginning to occur with children, teens, and young adults spreading the virus by visiting different households. At this time, it is not safe to gather with individuals outside of your household or allow visitors inside your home.

ALL PUEBLO MEMBERS & RESIDENTS MUST ADHERE TO EXECUTIVE ORDER AMENDMENT NO.5 & ALL SUPPLEMENT TO THE ORDER. Visit the POL website for documents or contact the Tribal Building for a copy. Pay close attention to:

COVID-19 SAFE PRACTICES, TESTING & VACCINATIONS continue to be our most valuable tools in this fight against the virus. Various studies continue to show that an unvaccinated person can carry & shed a very high viral load for a longer period of time versus a person who is fully vaccinated. It is strongly encouraged to get vaccinated to protect yourself and others, and stay updated on COVID-19 boosters for your age group.
