“COVID-19 booster shots are available at health care facilities for eligible individuals who were previously fully vaccinated. We strongly urge everyone to get a booster shot to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Health care facilities are also beginning the process of administering the COVID-19 vaccines for five-to-11-year-old children. We have to continue to wear masks in public, getting fully vaccinated, and be very careful in public. The safest place to be is at home here on the Navajo Nation. If you choose to travel off the Navajo Nation and attend large events where people are not required to wear masks, you are putting yourself at greater risk of the virus. Please be safe and continue to pray,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
Health care facilities across the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines. If you would like to receive one of the COVID-19 vaccines, please contact your health care provider and schedule an appointment.
“We are in this together and we are getting through this pandemic one day at a time. Please continue to show your support to your loved ones and encourage them to be cautious to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. Please pray for our people and our frontline workers,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
