“Some neighboring states and counties have fairs, and we want to remind our citizens to be vigilant, especially avoiding large gatherings. COVID-19 and its variants are still among us, and we have to wear face masks in public and avoid unnecessary travel. Stay safe and continue to pray for our communities,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.

Health care facilities across the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines during drive-thru events or by appointment. If you would like to receive the vaccine, don’t hesitate to contact your health care provider for more information for your Service Unit.

“Personal responsibility is key to reducing the spread of COVID-19. Our health care experts have provided us with the guidance and knowledge to protect ourselves and others from the virus, so please remain diligent and think of others. Be safe and keep praying for our frontline workers and all of our people,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
