“Remain cautious and please consider getting vaccinated for COVID-19 if you have not already. The vaccines are highly-effective in pushing back on the virus. The vaccines don’t guarantee that you won’t get COVID-19, but it is very effective in reducing the symptoms and hospitalizations. We have to get more of our people vaccinated to reach our goal of community immunity. Please keep taking precautions and wearing masks in public. We are in this together,” said Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez.
Health care facilities across the Navajo Nation continue to administer COVID-19 vaccines during drive-thru events or by appointment. If you would like to receive the vaccine, please contact your health care provider for more information for your Service Unit.
“We have to be optimistic, keep praying, and keep taking actions to meet our prayers half way. We owe so much gratitude to our health care workers and first responders for working around the clock to save lives. Please be safe and continue to take precautions,” said Vice President Myron Lizer.
