NCUIH to Testify before House Appropriations on COVID-19 Response

The House Interior Appropriations Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Indian Health Service Covid-19 Response on Thursday, June 11 at 1:00 PM ET.

On June 11, 2020, Executive Director Francys Crevier of the National Council of Urban Indian Health (NCUIH) will testify before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies. The hearing is on the COVID-19 Response and will be led by Chair Betty McCollum and Ranking Member David Joyce. The hearing will be held in 2118 Rayburn House Office Building and will also be livestreamed.

The first panel will include Rear Admiral Michael Weahkee, Director of the Indian Health Service. The second panel with NCUIH will include Stacy Bohlen of the National Indian Health Board.
