That\u2019s on top of a <a href=\"https:\/\/indianz.com\/News\/2024\/09\/16\/chuck-hoskin-cherokee-nation-works-to-meet-housing-challenges\/\">$120 million housing investment<\/a> two years ago on the tribe&#8217;s reservation in northeastern Oklahoma.\r\n<p><\/p>\r\nThe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/\">Department of Housing and Urban Development<\/a> is disbursing almost <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hud.gov\/press\/press_releases_media_advisories\/hud_no_24_306\">$73 million toward housing programs for 38 tribes<\/a>.
