REGISTRATION OPEN FOR NAFOA’S VIRTUAL 39TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE<\/div>\r\nRegister today<\/a> for NAFOA’s Virtual 39th Annual Conference<\/a> taking place April 26-29, 2021. Even though we won’t be in-person, the conference will still bring together tribal, state, federal, and industry partners to discuss important economic issues facing Indian Country. We are working hard to bring you a virtual conference lineup with compelling education sessions and fun entertainment. \r\n

RECORDING – TRIBAL COVID-19 TOWN HALL: $1.9T RECONCILIATION PACKAGE<\/div>\r\nNAFOA along several national organizations convened a Tribal Leader Town Hall tomorrow Friday, February 12, 2021 at 3:00 EST to discuss the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package – which includes a proposed $20 billion tribal relief fund – that Congress is expected to pass next week using budget reconciliation rules. Read more about the Tribal Provisions in the proposed legislation in NAFOA’s latest broadcast<\/a>.\r\n

2021 INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES FELLOWSHIP<\/div>\r\nHow can Native innovators in the US use traditional knowledge and technology to meet the social, environmental, and economic goals of their communities?\r\n

<\/p>\r\nA $10,000 grant will be provided to each selected Fellow. Please note that all innovators own and retain the rights to their own work, technology, data, and intellectual property\u2014the Indigenous Communities Fellowship serves to provide Native innovators with the support and resources they need to advance their work.\r\n
